It didn't start as a business. It started as our story.
Princess Milena brings together two worlds that have shaped our lives — the sea and travel on one side, and home, hospitality and care for people on the other.
The name Princess Milena hides a very personal family story.
“Princess” comes from the world of ships, where Nemanja works as Chief Officer. “Milena” is the part that gave that story a sense of home, hospitality and attention to detail.
Nemanja's love of the sea, sailing and travel has been part of our family life for years. My love has always been on the other side of the same journey — in the welcome, the details and a warm space.
When we brought those two worlds together, Princess Milena was born. Not as an idea to create just another place to stay, but to create something that carries a part of us.
Every apartment is different and has its own special features, but the standard we strive for is the same: a modern, tidy and functional space where guests can relax.
As the collection grew, so did our responsibility. It matters to us that growth never means losing the personal touch that started it all.

We learned a lot precisely by being guests ourselves.
Thanks to Nemanja's job, we spent years on ships, often living at sea for months. While waiting to embark, we stayed in different hotels all over the world.
Every experience taught us something: how much a clean, well-prepared space, simple communication, a good welcome and the feeling that someone thought of you really mean.
Today our rhythm is different. Our son Balša has grown up and school keeps us closer to home, but travel is still part of who we are. Everything we learn as guests we try to bring to Princess Milena Apartments.
We don't just want more apartments. We want better apartments.
Every year we aim for a wider choice in good locations, but we never want to put quantity ahead of quality. We grow carefully, together with our guests and the experience each season brings.
